I Will Not Forget You

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. (‭Isaiah‬ ‭49‬:‭15‬ NKJV)

All the time people are coming in and out of our lives. There are some that do not want to be part of it. They simply walk away. Then there are others that push us away. Not because we have done wrong, but simply because they do not know how to handle to be around us anymore. This is not about us. It’s their own internal battle that pushes us away. Is their survival mechanism.

In this particular dilemma we get stuck. It is hard to deal with rejection, abandonment and forgetfulness. We do not understand why they have rejected us, have pushed us away or have simply forgotten us. It hurts because we do not want to be rejected. We don’t want to be forgotten like we were just a mere leaf that the wind blew by. Unfortunately, it does happened, and the enemy likes to take advantage of those situations to drill in our minds how worthless we are. That them forgetting is a sign how inexistent or little meaning you had in their lives.

Guess what? That is not true! People do not determine our worth! Them forgetting about you and leaving you in the air cannot control your mind with unnecessary frustration. Them choosing to forget cannot control. You know why? God says that even when people forget us or the good we have done in their lives God doesn’t forget us! How wonderful is that!
Isaiah described it like a mother that cannot forget her child. How much more precious are we to Lord Almighty! We are His children and He cares for us. Even when loneliness and abandonment wants to sink us in a whole of desperation and worthlessness God says it is not like that. Man can hurt, walk away and forget but our everlasting God will not forget us. He said I will not leave you or forsake you.

Be assured brothers and sisters that God is still present. Even when everyone has deserted you and may have even forgotten your name God says, “Yet, I will not forget you.”

Your Word

When my mind rumbles
And I tend to over think
I will ground my thoughts
In your Word of peace

When I see darkness
Surround and abound
The lamp unto my feet
Takes all darkness out

When the battle gets stronger
And weakened I get
I meditate on your Word
That increases my strength

When I do not know
The road to pick
I’ll cling to Your Word to guide
To do what is pleasing to Thee

Mind Map

Hello! I have been gone for a minute, but always remembering all my faithful readers.

Today, I want to share what came to me today. By nature, I am a visual learner. In order for my mind to grasp things in a more profound way I have to see it. Like many of you I am too, an over thinker. I think and analyze EVERYTHING! At times I am guilty of going to the extremes. So to put my thoughts in order I use mind nodes or in old school lingo – brain maps.  They help so much to create a visual escenario of what is going on in my mind. This way I can “see” the thoughts and “clean” those that do not need to stay.

As I was storming through the thoughts of the current process God is taking me through; I wrote my thoughts to get a better perspective. I can’t post everything I wrote, of course, but I do want to share the last link I added. I titled it “What God Wants.” When we follow God for a while we tend to wonder what God wants for me and what He wants us to do. Every time I go through a trial or breaking process that I need fresh godly perspective I add this title to one of the mind node branches. It helps me see and focus on the right thoughts that are in my head but the clutter of frustration, disappointment, and confusion don’t let me see.

Here is what I discovered that I KNOW but in the middle of the different situations that clutter my life I forgot…

Thinking this way will keep you on track. God bless You All! 😀

On This Day 28 – Just Pray

imagesCAQTELB1

We go through so many things. In many of them feel so overwhelmed, anxious and just plain disturbed in our mind and hearts. When those moments arise is like our mind goes blank on what we are supposed to do. We think about everything thats wrong and how is affecting our life, but we just don’t seem to find the way to get through it. The simple answer lies in the reality of where our focus is. If our focus, even in the middle of the caos and disturbance, is Christ we have a surety inside our soul that we are not going through it alone. When our focus shifts from Christ to what we have encountered it becomes a rollercoaster of emotions that sometimes are so incontrolable even to the most spiritual Christian. What could we do in those circumstances we face that seem so impossible to bare? The answer lies in one word, Pray. This praying is not the one that you will hear from a pulpit with the elegant words. It is the prayer of supplication, rendition and need that comes from the deepness of your soul to the only one, the Almighty God, that can help you in this situation. It is not a prayer of quantity of words, but of a full trust in Whom is faithful.

On this day things maybe overwhelming and uncertain, but in the middle of thing know that prayer is the most powerful weapon to overcome any situation. Today pray knowing that God is there to listen.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Destruction to Life

How I wonder

The life I chose

Not perfect at all

Many mistakes in it I have done

Was everything worth it?

The choices I mean

Did they bring life

Or slowly killed me?

They did both I see

The wrong ones destoryed me

The right ones lifted me up

From all of them I have learned some

The most hurting I can remember to be

Was giving my heart to a nobody

I gave all and received just pain

Emotional, psychological and physical I say

All in one came to attack

My fragile and devastated heart

I thought no one would ever want

Someone so broken like I was

I tried to get up

Inside destroyed

Still in the deepness of myself

Remembered the name that once brought joy

I remembered Jesus

How He was always with me

And at this moment of disgrace

I could still call upon Him

I called not really believing

That after so long I was worth to something be receiving

The love, compasion and understanding

My heart, my life so much needed

He answered to my surprise

I was dead in sin and lies

But He still answered

To give me life

I will tell you it was no easy task

Surrendering to Him my life and my heart

But through the process I have seen

How’s He turned destruction to a life of victory

On This Day 23 – Be A Kid

21193_10200682574523481_466649224_n

Hectic week but seeing the glory of God in different lives. This last week giving a Bible class to my youth I asked each one what made them sad and happy…The older ones responded with church, sports, games and other things…then the smallest about ten years old impacted me with his answer…He tells me that what makes him happy is knowing that Jesus is part of his life and is by his side….Then I asked what made them sad and he answers…That Jesus would not be in my life!!! The Word of God is powerful saying that we have to be like children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We have to see our happiness based on Jesus and see our greatest sadness to be away from Him and not having Him in our lives.  Is time to seek more and cling more to Jesus our Saviour!

You Will Continue

You will continue. Even in the struggle, the unanswered questions and the uncertain future…God says you will continue.

Not because you will have unbelievable powers granted to you like a super hero. Not because the resolution to everything will come to your brain. But you will continue because you have something, or better said, someone who cares so much for you that….

…For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5b

…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20b

…nor any created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That person is God. If He says you will continue is because He will give you strength and be your strength when you need Him. He is your shield and your help. (Psalms 115:9)

What more proof you need to know that you will continue? If He declared a word over your life it will come to happen. Just trust in Him that can do everything possible. God has no limits.

Take time

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6

Time rumbles in our life constantly. We depend on it. It gives us a sense of order in this chaotic world. Sometimes or most of it we don’t appreciate it as we should especially when it comes towards our attention to God. I had to ask myself a question. Are we really in a time that we can allow ourselves to restrict time from our relationship with God? This is the most crucial time in history where us, the church and body of Christ, should not restrict God our time. Christ is at the door. He is coming soon!
We make countless excuses concerning the environment that surrounds us. Unfortunately, the real truth is that without God we are nothing and can’t do a thing. We are so vulnerable in our human nature that Is only with God that we are strong. He is and has to be the center of our lives. When we acknowledge that what we lack He will provide, that what we can’t do He will, and that overall things He is in control of everything. Then and only then will our trust and confidence will be absolutely on Him. No excuse will be strong enough to keep us from spending wonderful time in prayer and His Word with the only one that can direct our lives in the path of abundant blessings that overpass our thinking.
Take time to be with The Lord no matter how big or small. It is a matter of always acknowledging the need of Him for everything and that your days when they are guided by Him will always bring forth blessing.

A Woman’s Miracle

The most important thing we have with God is access to Him through Christ. When we accept Christ as our Savior he becomes our defender, our intercessor and most important the only way to be part of the blessings God the Father has in stored for us in His Kingdom. When we see God there are many times we think He is too far, too busy, too big or just because He is not visible we see His works on our human mind very impossible. In Jeremiah, God asked the prophet “…is there anything impossible for me?” Jeremiah 32:27 He saw so impossible in his human eyes what God was going to do, God had to remind Him of His absolute power and mighty that there was nothing that could stop from what He wants to do. (Isaiah 46:9-10)

As a woman we want to have someone to care for us. We always look for a man, family, work, or careers to satisfy our needs. These are easy targets because for our human conscience they are tangible and real. It is hard to call on God because He does not work with our human nature so His responses are not always in the ways we expect or understand. God seems as He can I answer but rarely I see Him answering. What if we change our perspective? Instead of trying to decipher just follow Him in faith till we can receive from Him what we have longed for?

I. The Wait

a. We do not like to wait. That is our human nature. Waiting is one of the most gratifying things in life especially if what you are waiting for is God and His glory to be manifested in your life.

b. They waited for Jesus to arrive

i. Jesus WILL arrive to your situation

II. Desperation

a. (v.41) Jairus was desperate. His daughter was dying. He knew Jesus was the only chance he had. His position in society was a powerful one, ruler of the synagogue. This man was in the most prominent position of religious power. The Pharisees and Sadducees which were type of theologian of our day did not believe in Jesus. This man that was all influenced by these that did not believe realized there was something Jesus could do. Jairus humiliated himself. Being a well respected community member falling at Jesus feet in front of the crowd was a great humiliation.

i. We need to understand that no matter what we may have in life humiliation and surrendering to Christ is the key to having our needs supplied. (Psalm 138:6)

b. The woman was also a desperate one. Her sickness had been oppressing her for 12 years. Any material possibility was wasted. Her life was slowly ending. She was waiting for Jesus. She was scared but brave enough to go beyond what people expected. People expected her to stay in her place (which was being outcast of society). She broke the expectations.

i. Are you willing to break the expectations in order to get closer to Christ in order to receive your healing both emotional and physical?

ii. Are you going to do it passively or actively?

1. Passively – you wait and wait for God to do something the way you think He will do it and at the time you think. When it doesn’t happen you get frustrated and think God does not respond or forgot about you.

2. Actively – you wait in surrendering, supplication, prayer, and the Word of God until you receive what you have so much desired.

iii. Her reward was the most precious gift you could get. Salvation. Not only was her sickness healed but she received Salvation (v.48) “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace”
